Don Bosco Central School, Angamaly, a Catholic Minority Institution, is run by the Salesians of Don Bosco, founded by St. John Bosco (1815 - 1888). He was a priest of the Catholic Church, an eminent educationist who hailed from Italy. He came to the rescue of the poor, disadvantaged youth of his time with his novel method of educating them. He based his education on the three great principles of reason, religion and loving kindness.

As an alumni of DB, I'm proud to convey my enriching experience, which played a vital role in both my personal and academic growth. The exceptional and passionate faculty of DB was always there for me with their support and guidance. Apart from my paper knowledge, the school always offered a wide range of extracurricular activities, clubs, and opportunities to explore my talents and interests. It was a perfect second home, which played a significant role in my character development. Each and every student felt valued and secured, regardless of any differences.
