Don Bosco Central School, Angamaly, a Catholic Minority Institution, is run by the Salesians of Don Bosco, founded by St. John Bosco (1815 - 1888). He was a priest of the Catholic Church, an eminent educationist who hailed from Italy. He came to the rescue of the poor, disadvantaged youth of his time with his novel method of educating them. He based his education on the three great principles of reason, religion and loving kindness.
Located in the heart of Angamaly, Don Bosco Central School Stands as a home away from home. Following the mission and vision of St. John Bosco, based on the preventive system, the Management and Teachers with the collaboration of parents are determined to mould a future oriented generation, ready to face the challenges of life with creative outlook, openness, self-confidence and consistency. This system of education does not consist in merely imparting knowledge, but in the formation of character, building of self-esteem and above all formation of honest and upright citizens for the 21st century.
