House System

The house system provides the framework for active participation in all activities. The four houses of the school organize morning assembly, internal competitions, maintain discipline and keep the campus clean.

Each house has a unique identity and is made up of students of different grades and ages. House selection takes place at the beginning of the school year, where students have the opportunity to select the house they would like to belong to.

Each house is headed by a captain and vice-captain, who are responsible for leading and motivating the members of their house. These leaders also represent their houses on the student council, where important decisions about school events and activities are made.

The organization of the morning assembly is one of the main responsibilities of the houses. Each house has the opportunity to lead the assembly on a weekly rotation, allowing them to showcase their skills in event planning and execution. During the assembly, students present speeches, share important news, and recognize the outstanding achievements of their peers. This fosters an inclusive and supportive environment within the school.

In addition to the assembly, the houses also play a fundamental role in organizing internal competitions. These competitions cover a wide range of sporting, cultural and academic activities, such as football tournaments, dances, debates and knowledge tests. These competitions not only foster camaraderie and team spirit among students, but also give them the opportunity to showcase and develop their skills in different areas.

Another responsibility of the houses is to maintain discipline at school. The members of each house are responsible for ensuring compliance with the rules and regulations established by the institution. This includes ensuring that students behave appropriately, respect their teachers and peers, and take care of school facilities.

Lastly, the houses are also responsible for keeping the campus clean. Students spend time cleaning classrooms, playgrounds, hallways, and gardens, ensuring that the school environment is tidy and well-maintained. This work promotes ecological awareness among students and teaches them the value of responsibility and respect for their environment.

In general, the house system is fundamental to the operation and development of the school. It allows active participation of students in various activities, encourages leadership and teamwork, and promotes a sense of belonging and pride in the school community. Through their dedication and effort, the houses contribute to creating an enriching and dynamic environment where students can grow academically and personally.
