Nov 7th, 2024 | Admin

As part of the Socially Useful Productive Work (SUPW), the students of Class X and XII along with their class teachers, coordinator, Fr. Prince Puthenangadi and Fr. Jilson Erikkat, the Vice Principal and Administrator visited Kripasadan on 7th November. The visit was aimed at fostering a sense of responsibility, compassion and respect for the elderly in our community. A small cultural programme was organized which included singing, dancing, games and quizzes, which brought smiles to the faces elderly inmates. The students also encouraged the residents to a story telling session. The students donated an amount as a gesture of their support. Towards the end of the visit, the students spent time interacting with the residents and listening to their stories and experiences. They also shared tea and snacks. The visit to Kripasadan was an enriching and heart-warming experience. On the same day, students were also engaged in an eco-friendly activity aimed to promote sustainable practices and reduce the use of plastic by making paper bags. Step by step demonstration was conducted by the Art Teacher Mr. Shibin. The paper bag making activity was both educational and enjoyable. It emphasized the importance of small actions in achieving larger environmental goals.
